BE AWARE OF RESENTMENTS

Today I would like to discuss the importance of being aware of resentments and how it relates to overeating.   The number one reason we compulsive overeaters risk relapsing and returning to destructive eating, is resentments.

During this past week I have noticed  resentments of mine such as: Resentment against myself for getting angry at people in the past, mishandling money matters, being lazy and procrastinating,  not having the courage to accomplish certain tasks,  being jealous of other people's success.  If I fail to recognize these resentments on a daily basis, my mind stores these resentments.  They then build up over time and I am in the refrigerator having no idea why I am bingeing on food once again.  My advice to you is keep a daily journal of your resentments  so you can be aware of how your mind is attempting to trap you into suffering and then eating.
